Dover Cup
About Dover Cup

Dover Cup was formed approximately 60 years ago, and in 1981 was purchased by Dover Industries Limited from Continental Can Company.

In late 2001, Dover Cup moved from its long-time home in an older multi-level plant on New Toronto Street in Toronto, into a single level 100,000 square foot facility in Brampton, Ontario.

Dover Cup is well positioned to provide paper hot and cold drink cups from 4 ounce to 32 ounce capacity, paper tubs from 8 ounce to 10 pound sizes, French fry containers in four different sizes, paper containers for bread crumbs and other dry foods, and clamshell containers and trays for the fast food industry.

Superior Print Quality & More

One of the factors that distinguishes Dover Cup from other manufacturers is its ability to produce superior print quality. Dover can provide its customers with printed pictorial work with up to 8 colours and coatings, two of which can be on the opposite side of the container if necessary. Print quality and pictorial work can be achieved which is comparable or superior to any printing found on cups and packaging today.

Another factor which sets Dover Cup apart is that we are small enough to be flexible and nimble in meeting customer requirements and special requests, while at the same time we are large enough, as part of Dover Industries, to take on major supply contracts and high quantity orders.

Dover Cup utilizes state-of-the-art quality assurance and statistical process control systems in our plant to monitor and insure product quality and consistency. It is the goal of Dover Cup to meet or exceed customer expectations 100% of the time.

Innovation

Although paper cups and containers have been used for a long time, Dover Cup is conducting research and development into new and better ways of designing and using these products. For example, a new hot drink cup lid has recently been introduced which we believe is the most leak-proof lid on the market. Dover Cup is also actively seeking partners in its efforts to develop new uses for paper containers. In addition to the traditional products which have been contained in paper cups and containers, if you have a new product, which needs a package, we would be delighted to work with you. Dover is presently developing a bio-degradable paper hot drink cup.
